Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Finance Professional to take full ownership of financial operations for the company's international expansion. This is the first dedicated finance hire for international operations and will play a critical role in building financial processes, managing large construction project finances, and partnering the business through its next growth phase.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end financial operations for international data center development projects, including large-scale construction finance
- Manage construction claims and dispute resolution together with project and legal teams
- Lead AP, AR, cash management, FP&A, and budgeting
- Establish financial controls and processes across multiple jurisdictions
- Support cross-border tax structuring with external tax advisors
- Prepare financial reporting and management accounts for leadership
- Track capital deployment, project costs, and variances
- Liaise with banks, auditors, and external stakeholders
- Support business development through financial modeling and analysis
- Work closely with China-based finance team and HQ
Requirements Essential
- 813 years of finance experience with strong construction project finance exposure
- Proven track record on large-scale infrastructure or real estate construction projects
- Hands-on experience with construction claims, disputes, and contract finance
- Cross-border finance experience, ideally with European exposure
- Strong tax knowledge for cross-border transactions
- Solid technical skills across AP, AR, treasury, and FP&A
- Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, CA or equivalent)
- Comfortable operating as a standalone finance lead
- Short notice period preferred
Preferred
- Experience in infrastructure, renewable energy, data centers, or real estate
- Exposure to PE-backed or high-growth platforms
- Strong understanding of multi-jurisdiction compliance
- Strategic mindset with strong commercial judgement
