The VP/MS product modeler will work on producttransformation initiatives and spearhead the modernization of products from anIT perspective.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in digital technologies, and a proven track record of delivering successful productdevelopment and implementation.
Description: -
- Drive and oversee product transformation projects with focus on IT.
- Lead product modeling using VP/MS and collaborate with cross-functional IT teams for seamless integration.
- Oversee the modernization and developmentof new products using VP/MS and other relevant tools, ensuring they are aligned with IT standards and best practices.
Who we are looking for:
- Expertise in VP/MS and other product modelling tools, as well as a strong understanding of IT architecture, software development methodologies, and DevOps practices.
- 5+ years of experience in the insurance industry, with a track record of success in product development and product modernization initiatives.
- Experience in managing complex product transformation projects in the insurance or financial sector, specificallyfrom an IT standpoint.
- Fluency in cloud computing concepts and experience in working with cloud-based infrastructure.
- Previous involvement in end-to-end IT-centric product development cycles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and persuade senior stakeholders and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strategic thinking for IT efficiency and effectiveness
- Actuarial knowledge or experience will be an advantage.
