Business Function

Group Marketing & Communications is responsible for building, protecting, and enhancing the DBS brand in an increasingly commoditised banking industry. Working closely with all units within the DBS Group, we create and execute integrated strategies that focus on communications especially digital communications, marketing, and research to differentiate - and elevate - our brand from the rest of the competition.

Job Purpose

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Creative and Content Operations Lead to join our dynamic CBG Marketing team in Singapore. In this pivotal role, you will lead and inspire our in-house creative designers and content engineers, shaping compelling marketing initiatives that resonate with our Retail and Wealth banking segments. This is an exciting opportunity to drive creative strategy, champion innovation, and significantly impact how DBS connects with Singaporeans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire an in-house team of creative designers and content engineers, providing strategic direction and constructive feedback from concept to execution
  • Spearhead creative strategy, translating marketing briefs and business requirements into innovative and executable solutions that meet business objectives and target audience engagement
  • Oversee the entire content creation process for owned and paid channels (digital, social media, ATL, OOH, BTL), ensuring high-quality, on-brand, and impactful output
  • Craft clear, compelling, and consistent marketing copy, guiding the narrative and messaging across all communications to align with brand voice and guidelines
  • Track and report on overall creative production, efficiencies, and manage capacity planning, ensuring timely execution of deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Champion the responsible and ethical use of AI, identifying and implementing use cases to optimise content workflows, enhance efficiencies, and accelerate speed to market
  • Ensure all creative assets and marketing communications adhere to brand standards, banking and regulatory guidelines, and internal policies
  • Drive business outcomes and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) through impactful creative and content strategies, demonstrating clear return on investment
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships and collaborate effectively within a large-scale matrix organization to achieve shared goals

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in creative direction, copywriting, and/or content operations within an advertising agency or in-house team
  • Proven track record in developing and executing compelling creative strategies and campaigns across diverse marketing channels
  • Exceptional copywriting skills, with a strong portfolio showcasing effective and engaging content that aligns with brand voice
  • Proficiency and hands-on experience with AI-powered creative tools and platforms for content generation
  • A keen eye for visual aesthetics and a deep understanding of digital media dynamics
  • Highly creative, detail-oriented, collaborative, and able to organise, prioritise, and produce results independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience working on financial products and services is preferred
  • An inquisitive mind, keeping abreast of the latest trends and emerging developments in digital technology and the financial industry
