VP, Internal Audit - Financial Institution

This financial institution is committed to investing for future growth. It is now seeking to recruit a highly capable VP, IT Audit to join its Audit function.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Head of Internal Audit, you will be responsible for designing and executing the IT audit framework and annual audit plan, and for independently planning, scoping, and delivering risk-based IT audits across the end-to-end technology landscape. You will act as the primary point of contact for all IT audit matters, build strong relationships with senior stakeholders and provide practical, value-added recommendations that go beyond compliance to strengthen IT governance and risk management.

Requirements

You have at least 12 years of post-qualification experience in IT audit or related areas, preferably within financial services, digital banks or finance technology firms. You possess strong expertise in several areas, including cybersecurity, technology change management, AI/model risk management, cloud security and IT general controls (ITGCs). Experience with data analytics tools or scripting languages such as Python is an advantage. You hold a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, and relevant technical certifications (e.g., CISA, CISSP, cloud certifications) are preferred. In addition, you have proven experience leading teams and developing talent to drive high performance.
