Our client is a Quantitative Hedge Fund company and seeking a Fund accountant to grow the team.
Some of the Key Responsibilities include:
- Reconcile daily and monthly NAVs, positions, P&L, fees, and investor allocations with the Fund Administrator.
- Work with the investment team on accurate P&L booking and support annual external audits.
- Manage accounting operations across multiple entities, including invoicing, bill payments, cash reconciliation, and budgeting.
- Prepare financial analyses and assist with the firm's global tax responsibilities.
To be eligible for this role you will require:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. Possession of CA/CPA qualification shall be a plus.
- 7+ years of fund accounting experience with exposure to hedge funds, ideally in fund management or at a Fund Administrator with strong Excel skills and familiarity with NAV accounting, valuation and fees.
- Experience with automated reporting systems plus exposure to corporate accounting and tax is a plus.
- Strong English communication skills, ability to work well in a small team, commitment to accuracy, ongoing learning, and creative problem-solving.
