Job Description
My client is a leading international financial institution with a strong global presence. As they continue to expand their operations in Asia, we are seeking for an experienced VP, FCC to join the team.
As the VP, FCC, you will play a critical role in overseeing the FCC program for APAC and ensuring compliance with Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF), sanctions, anti-bribery, and anti-corruption regulations. You will work closely with senior management, regulators, and other key stakeholders to develop and implement effective compliance strategies that mitigate financial crime risks across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the FCC function, ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies
- Oversee the development and implementation of the AML/CTF framework, including transaction monitoring, customer due diligence (CDD), and sanctions screening
- Provide strategic advice and guidance to senior management on financial crime risks and regulatory changes
- Conduct risk assessments, gap analysis, and audits to identify and mitigate potential compliance risks
- Liaise with regulators, law enforcement agencies, and internal/external auditors on FCC-related matters
- Develop and deliver FCC training programs to enhance awareness and understanding across the organization
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in financial crime compliance, with a strong focus on AML, CTF, and sanctions
- Proven track record of managing complex FCC programs
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively with senior management and external stakeholders
- Experience in regulatory liaison and managing relationships with regulators is a plus.
