We are working with a well-capitalised investment holding platform with an active and growing presence globally. The team is looking to hire a VP / Director (M&A) to support its next phase of expansion. We are specifically keen on folks with bulge-bracket investment banking backgrounds.
This sits within a lean, high-performing team with direct access to senior leadership and decision-makers.
The Role
You will play a key role in driving the firm's investment strategy, with full involvement across the end-to-end M&A lifecycle - from evaluation through to execution and portfolio engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute end-to-end M&A transactions, including acquisitions, divestments, and strategic investments
- Build and review detailed financial models, valuation analyses, and investment materials
- Conduct commercial and financial due diligence and support deal structuring
- Work closely with senior stakeholders on investment decisions and transaction strategy
- Manage external advisors (investment banks, legal counsel, consultants)
- Support portfolio companies on post-investment initiatives and value creation
What We're Looking For
- 10–16 years of experience in investment banking (M&A), private equity, or corporate development
- Currently operating at VP / Director level (or equivalent)
- Strong track record of closed M&A transactions with hands-on execution experience
- Background from a reputable investment bank or advisory platform
- Ability to operate in a lean, fast-paced, and entrepreneurial environment
- Strong financial modelling, commercial judgement, and stakeholder management skills
