The candidate will be a member of the Loan Syndication team within the Asia-Pacific Syndicated Finance Department. The individual will focus on our loan syndication efforts in all structured lending products, with a greater initial emphasis on the syndicate and distribution of loans in the leveraged buyout and project finance space. The candidate is expected to be able to collaborate closely with other structured product partners to cultivate business opportunities, develop winning strategies, identify market trends, analyze liquidity risks and make recommendations to underwrite transactions with well thought-out de-risking strategies. The candidate must be a strong team player, but at the same time, must be able to function independently. A dedicated work ethic and a strong compliance mindset are preferred.
Job Responsibilities Will Include But Not Limited To
- Co-work with structured product partners to structure, syndicate and distribute all structured lending products including but not limited to leveraged loans, PF loans, non recourse real estate loans amongst others.
- Formulate sound underwriting calls supported by appropriate syndication and de-risking strategy.
- Strengthen distribution network for all structured lending products through regular dialogues with investors, and deepen the investor base by cultivating new relationships.
- Marketing and pricing of public or private debt securities, as well as loan offerings to investor base.
- Manage the sell-down process of structured lending products via both the primary and secondary markets.
Requirements- Degree in Banking, Finance and or any related discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in the Asian syndicated loan space, specifically in Leveraged Finance and/or Project Finance.
- Good credit skills.
- Broad knowledge across diverse structured lending products.
- Excellent team player & a strong communicator.
- Meticulous with a keen eye for detail.
