About Our Client

Our client is a global asset manager establishing a new Singapore office to support its expanding private credit platform. As part of this build-out, the firm is seeking a VP/Director, Fund Performance (Private Credit) to lead performance measurement, middle office oversight, and attribution analysis for its growing suite of private credit strategies.

This is a newly created role offering the opportunity to shape core middle office processes, work closely with global investment teams, and contribute to the firm's operational and analytical foundation in Asia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Fund Performance Management: Lead performance reporting across private credit funds, including performance calculation, portfolio analytics, and return decomposition.
  • Performance Attribution: Develop and enhance attribution frameworks to analyse drivers of fund and underlying asset returns.
  • Middle Office Oversight: Own day-to-day middle office processes for private credit portfolios, ensuring accuracy across valuations, cash movements, positions, and internal controls.
  • Process Build-Out: Establish performance measurement standards, workflows, and systems for the Singapore office as part of a new operational setup.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Partner closely with investment, risk, operations, and global reporting teams to ensure high-quality performance outputs.
  • Data & Systems: Support implementation and optimisation of performance tools, data models, and reporting dashboards.

Requirements

  • 1015+ years of experience in fund performance, middle office, or investment analytics, with deep expertise in private credit.
  • Strong technical grounding in performance measurement, attribution methodologies, and credit asset analytics.
  • Experience in a start-up or build-out environment within an asset manager is highly preferred.
  • Hands-on, detail-oriented, and able to design and implement new processes and frameworks.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Solid academic background preferred.
