VP, Data, Analytics & Technology APAC

A leading organisation in the travel retail and F&B sector is seeking a VP, Data, Analytics & Technology, APAC to lead its regional capabilities from Singapore. The business is strengthening its use of data, analytics and technology to support growth, enhance customer engagement and improve operational performance across diverse APAC markets. This role will shape how these capabilities are deployed regionally, aligning local priorities with global platforms and standards.

Responsibilities

Reporting regionally to the CFO, APAC and functionally to global data and technology leadership, you will take ownership of the region's data, analytics and technology agenda. Acting as a strategic partner to the APAC leadership team, you will use data and insights to influence decision-making and drive business outcomes. A key focus will be establishing a cohesive regional capability-bringing together data, analytics and technology into a consistent operating model that supports both scale and local market requirements.

You will lead the delivery of key regional initiatives, including system implementations, integration of new businesses and transformation programmes, ensuring alignment with global standards while retaining flexibility for local execution. You will also set the direction for data management across APAC, with clear governance, reliable master data and consistent performance reporting to support commercial and operational visibility. In parallel, you will oversee the development of analytics and insights, enabling the business to better understand customers, markets and performance drivers, and translate these into actionable strategies. The role also carries accountability for regional IT operations, ensuring stable and effective technology services alongside continuous improvement.

Requirements

You bring extensive experience leading data, analytics and technology functions within a regional or global organisation, with a track record of delivering measurable business impact. You are comfortable operating at executive level, influencing senior stakeholders and shaping strategic priorities across multiple markets.

You have led complex, cross-border programmes and understand how to implement scalable data and technology solutions in a way that balances global consistency with local business needs. A strong grounding in modern data platforms, analytics and enterprise technology is expected, alongside the ability to communicate complex topics clearly to non-technical audiences. Experience in consumer-facing sectors such as retail, travel retail or F&B will be advantageous, as will familiarity with APAC markets and operating environments.
