Our client in the financial services and insurance sector is looking for a senior leader to drive customer growth, engagement, and retention across the full customer lifecycle.
This is a 8-month contract role - Maternity cover.
This role focuses on using data, digital platforms, and marketing capabilities to acquire new customers, increase cross-sell and upsell, and reduce attrition. You will work closely with marketing, analytics, digital, product, and distribution teams, as well as banking partners, to deliver measurable commercial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead customer lifecycle strategies across acquisition, activation, retention, and deepening
- Drive data-led customer campaigns to grow new customers and improve portfolio value
- Reduce churn through proactive and recovery-focused retention initiatives
- Partner with distribution and banking teams to increase insurance penetration
- Use analytics and insights to prioritise initiatives and improve profitability
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver customer and revenue targets
- Track performance against customer and commercial KPIs
Key Requirements
- 8-10+ years experience in insurance, financial services, or customer management roles
- Strong understanding of insurance products and distribution models
- Proven experience in customer strategy, analytics, marketing, or performance management
- Familiar with CRM, digital platforms, and marketing automation
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills
- Strategic, hands-on, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment
