Key Responsibilities
- Manage and review a portfolio of corporate credits across APAC within the bank's risk management framework.
- Provide independent credit assessment and effective challenge to underwriting and adjudication processes.
- Monitor portfolio quality, including watchlist and problem names, and recommend risk mitigation actions.
- Deliver timely portfolio reporting, trend analysis, and market insights to regional and Head Office stakeholders.
- Support the ongoing development of regional stress testing and credit risk initiatives.
- Act as a key partner to Front Office, Head Office, and control functions to ensure sound risk governance.
- Contribute to ESG and climate risk efforts across the APAC portfolio.
Experience Required
- Minimum 10 years of relevant corporate credit risk experience within an international bank.
- Strong credit analysis and risk judgement across corporate lending portfolios.
- Good understanding of APAC markets and regulatory environment.
- Experience interacting with senior stakeholders in a regional or global setup.
- Exposure to stress testing, watchlist management, or ESG risk is advantageous.
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related discipline
