Job Description

Credit Compliance & Policy Adherence

  • Ensure all credit transactions comply with Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) guidelines, the Bank's Credit Policy, and internal procedures.

Security & Documentation Checks

  • Perform thorough compliance checks on security documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy.

Facility Limit Control & Loan Disbursement

  • Manage facility limit controls including line implementation, monitoring, and authorization of loan disbursements.

System Data Review

  • Review data entries made by makers across various banking systems such as FLMS, LES, FactorPro, etc.

Transaction Reporting & Oversight

  • Review and verify reports detailing all transactions executed by staff to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Peer Review

  • Conduct peer reviews of transactions to maintain operational integrity and reduce errors.

Staff Guidance & Mentorship

  • Provide guidance and support to junior staff on matters related to facility limits, documentation, and compliance processes.

Project Participation & Process Improvement

  • Participate in ad-hoc projects assigned by the Supervisor, including end-to-end process reviews, system change requests, and new initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10-12 years of progressive experience in the banking or financial services industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership or senior management role.
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, with the ability to translate complex information into actionable plans.
  • Deep understanding of financial products, services, and market dynamics, with a proven track record of managing budgets and achieving financial targets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify problems, analyze root causes, and implement effective solutions.
  • Understanding of banking regulations, compliance requirements, and risk management principles.
