Job Description
Credit Compliance & Policy Adherence
- Ensure all credit transactions comply with Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) guidelines, the Bank's Credit Policy, and internal procedures.
Security & Documentation Checks
- Perform thorough compliance checks on security documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy.
Facility Limit Control & Loan Disbursement
- Manage facility limit controls including line implementation, monitoring, and authorization of loan disbursements.
System Data Review
- Review data entries made by makers across various banking systems such as FLMS, LES, FactorPro, etc.
Transaction Reporting & Oversight
- Review and verify reports detailing all transactions executed by staff to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Peer Review
- Conduct peer reviews of transactions to maintain operational integrity and reduce errors.
Staff Guidance & Mentorship
- Provide guidance and support to junior staff on matters related to facility limits, documentation, and compliance processes.
Project Participation & Process Improvement
- Participate in ad-hoc projects assigned by the Supervisor, including end-to-end process reviews, system change requests, and new initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10-12 years of progressive experience in the banking or financial services industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership or senior management role.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities, with the ability to translate complex information into actionable plans.
- Deep understanding of financial products, services, and market dynamics, with a proven track record of managing budgets and achieving financial targets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to identify problems, analyze root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Understanding of banking regulations, compliance requirements, and risk management principles.
