The Role

We are looking for a VP, Corporate Development to lead UnlockLand's capital strategy, strategic partnerships and corporate development initiatives as we enter our next stage of growth.

This is a highly strategic and execution-oriented role working directly with the founders.

Your immediate priority will be supporting the company's upcoming institutional financing round, including identifying and engaging potential lead investors, managing the fundraising process, and helping structure a strong investor syndicate.

Beyond fundraising, you will help UnlockLand build relationships with strategic investors, corporate partners, government-linked organisations and other stakeholders that can accelerate our global expansion.

What You'll Do

Capital Raising & Investor Development

* Lead execution of UnlockLand's upcoming institutional fundraising round.

* Build and manage a targeted pipeline of venture capital, growth investors, strategic investors and government-linked investment institutions.

* Proactively source warm introductions and direct relationships with relevant investment partners.

* Identify potential lead and co-lead investors in Singapore, North America, the Middle East and other priority markets.

* Prepare founders for investor meetings, partner meetings and investment committee discussions.

* Manage investor follow-ups, diligence processes, data room coordination and fundraising timelines.

* Support negotiations around valuation, round structure, ownership, governance and key term sheet provisions.

* Coordinate participation from existing investors and strategic investors.

Corporate Development

* Identify strategic investment, partnership, joint venture and market-entry opportunities.

* Develop relationships with major real estate developers, technology companies, government-linked organisations and institutional partners.

* Evaluate strategic opportunities based on commercial, financial and long-term company value.

* Support regional expansion strategies across Singapore, Southeast Asia, the Gulf and North America.

* Work with leadership on potential M&A and corporate structuring opportunities as the company scales.

Capital & Corporate Strategy

* Help develop UnlockLand's long-term financing strategy from Pre-Series A through future institutional rounds.

* Develop investor positioning, fundraising narratives and market benchmarking.

* Analyse comparable companies, transaction structures and valuation benchmarks.

* Advise the founding team on capital allocation, investor mix and strategic financing decisions.

* Maintain strong relationships with the company's investor and strategic ecosystem.

What We're Looking For

* 7+ years of experience in venture capital, investment banking, private equity, corporate development, growth investing or strategic finance.

* Strong network within the Singapore and broader Asia-Pacific investment ecosystem.

* Demonstrated experience working on venture or growth-stage technology financing transactions.

* Ability to engage confidently with VC Partners, institutional investors, corporate executives and government stakeholders.

* Strong understanding of fundraising processes, valuation, term sheets, cap tables and investment structures.

* Excellent financial, analytical and presentation skills.

* Strong commercial judgement and ability to understand complex technology businesses.

* Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, founder-led startup environment.

* Excellent written and spoken English.

Within the first 90–180 days, you will be expected to:

* Build a highly qualified institutional investor pipeline.

* Secure meaningful engagement with potential lead investors.

* Coordinate a competitive institutional fundraising process.

* Develop relationships with strategic investors and government-linked capital.

* Help the company successfully close its next financing round.

* Build a repeatable corporate development and capital strategy function for future growth.
