VP, Corporate Communications and Events

The Shortlist is partnering with a global investment platform on a newly created Communications & Events role, based in Singapore.

This role will join a high-growth, internationally active business at an exciting stage of its development, as it continues to expand its presence across Asia-Pacific.

The Role

Sitting within a lean global communications team, this role will be the sole communications and events representative in Singapore, supporting regional activity while connecting closely with colleagues in Europe and the US.

The position spans both strategic communications and hands-on event delivery, including:

• Supporting regional media relations and profile-building activity
• Developing and refining messaging in line with global narratives
• Partnering with senior stakeholders across investment and IR teams
• Leading the on-the-ground execution of investor and corporate events across Asia-Pacific
• Ensuring a high standard of delivery across all communications and event touchpoints

Your profile

We are looking for a communications professional with 6-10 years experience, ideally with a blend of agency and/or in-house exposure.

You will bring:

• A strong foundation in corporate communications, PR, or strategic communications
• Experience within financial services, investment, or similarly complex sectors
• Singapore-based experience, alongside exposure to regional (APAC) markets
• Experience supporting or delivering events (and a willingness to develop this capability)
• Confidence operating independently, with strong stakeholder management skills
• A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset and the ability to get things done
• Experience engaging with senior internal stakeholders
