VP, AI & Enterprise Transformation - Leading Advanced Manufacturing Organisation

A leading global advanced manufacturing organisation is seeking a Vice President, AI & Enterprise Transformation to lead its group-wide transformation agenda and accelerate the adoption of AI, automation, advanced analytics and digital technologies across the business. This is a senior leadership role sitting at the intersection of business, operations and technology, with responsibility for translating strategic priorities into practical transformation initiatives that deliver measurable business impact.

Working closely with the CEO, Executive Leadership Team and senior leaders across Manufacturing, R&D, Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, Quality and corporate functions, you will define the enterprise transformation roadmap, identify high-value opportunities and lead initiatives from strategy and use-case identification through to implementation, adoption and value realisation.

Responsibilities

You will shape and execute the enterprise AI and business transformation strategy and roadmap, identifying opportunities where AI, automation, analytics and digital technologies can improve productivity, quality, operational efficiency, decision-making, scalability and customer value. You will work closely with business and operational leaders to translate strategic priorities and business challenges into practical technology-enabled solutions.

You will lead transformation initiatives from problem definition and business case development through solution build, deployment, adoption and value realisation. This will include opportunities across manufacturing operations, supply chain optimisation, procurement intelligence, engineering productivity, quality management, product and test-data intelligence and corporate functions.

You will build and lead a lean, execution-focused Enterprise AI Transformation function, partnering closely with Technology, Engineering, Product and business teams to deliver and scale solutions across the organisation. You will also establish the appropriate governance, portfolio management, change management and benefit-tracking disciplines to ensure transformation investments translate into measurable and sustainable business outcomes.

A key focus will be taking AI and transformation initiatives beyond experimentation and proof-of-concept into production and business adoption, while building the organisational capabilities required to scale AI, automation and digital transformation across the enterprise.

Requirements

You have at least 15 years of experience across enterprise transformation, technology, operations, digital transformation, AI and/or consulting, with a strong track record of leading complex, enterprise-scale transformation programmes and delivering measurable business outcomes.

You combine strategic thinking with strong implementation experience and have successfully led cross-functional initiatives from strategy and business case through to execution, adoption and value realisation. Exposure to AI, advanced analytics, automation, Industry 4.0 and digital transformation would be highly advantageous.

Experience within advanced manufacturing, industrial, supply chain or other complex operational environments would be advantageous. You possess sufficient technology and AI fluency to engage effectively with technical teams while maintaining a strong focus on business outcomes rather than technology for technology's sake.

You are a commercially minded, pragmatic and execution-oriented transformation leader with strong executive presence and stakeholder management skills, comfortable engaging Board and C-suite stakeholders while working closely with operational, engineering and technology teams to turn transformation opportunities into tangible business results.
