Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced investment operations manager to support end-to-end operations of Advisor Operations, with a strong focus on transfer services and firm/advisor maintenance, regulatory implementations and strategic business initiatives. This role partners closely with Technology, Compliance, Business and external stakeholders to drive operational efficiency while supporting cross-department projects and new platform initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional business initiatives, regulatory implementation, system enhancements and platform migration projects
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to manage operational issues and process improvements
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), implementation planning and production deployment
- Oversee and improve end-to-end transfer processes, including transfer of unit trust holdings across & within platforms, settlement monitoring and other transfer-linked activities
- Oversee and improve firm and advisor maintenance matters on multiple platforms
- Investigate and resolve operational exceptions and complex cases
- Monitor operational risks and implement appropriate controls
- Exercise judgement in handling stakeholders requests, urgent ad hoc tasks, and completing priorities within tight timelines while exercising operational accuracy
- Ensure adherence to established procedures, control guidelines, market regulations and compliance framework
- Support implementation of new regulatory requirements and operational policies
Requirements
Technical & Functional Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Banking or related discipline
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in investment operations and/or transfer services
- Experience in handling high-volume operational environments with tight turnaround timelines
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite and comfortable working with multiple operational systems.
- Experience in handling cross-department projects
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Exposure to process improvement or automation initiatives
- Familiarity with maker/checker operation controls and risk management
- Knowledge of CPF Investment Scheme operational requirements and CPF Investment Administrator environment is advantageous
