Ray of Hope is Singapore's crowdfunding charity, mobilising communities to respond to unmet needs with compassion and action.
We believe help should be more accessible, participatory and community-powered. Through crowdfunding, volunteer mobilisation and collaborative problem-solving, we connect people who need support, with those who are ready to help.
As a lean social impact organisation, we work with a startup mindset: resourceful, adaptive and always learning.
This role is for someone excited by the people side of social innovation.
As our Volunteer & Community Associate, you will help support the growth and activation of the communities that power our work - from volunteers and ground-up supporters, to community partners who want to make a difference.
You'll support volunteer journeys, strengthen community participation, and help turn goodwill into coordinated action. This role involves hands-on coordination and occasional evening/weekend support during events or urgent cases.
If you enjoy organising people, building relationships and making ideas happen, this role offers plenty of room to contribute and grow.
Support recruitment, onboarding and engagement of volunteers
Coordinate volunteer deployments and community participation across initiatives
Support campaigns, events and activations that bring people into the work
Provide coordination support for case and community initiatives
Maintain records, data and simple reporting to support learning and improvement
Support logistics, follow-up and communications across programmes
You might be early in your career, but you are proactive, relational and energised by purpose-driven work.
You may be a fit if you are:
A strong organiser who enjoys bringing people together
Curious, adaptable and eager to learn by doing
Energised by community-building, social innovation and collective action
Able to work collaboratively within a small, dynamic team and across departments.
Diploma in social sciences, community development, communications or related fields (fresh graduates welcome)
Some experience in volunteering, organising, events, community work or social impact is a plus
Comfortable with digital tools such as Google Workspace and simple data management systems
You'll join a small and ambitious team reimagining how communities respond to need.
This is an opportunity to build hands-on experience in volunteer mobilisation, community innovation and impact work - while helping shape solutions that are practical, compassionate and people-powered.
If building community-centered systems with others excites you, we'd love to hear from you.
