Job Summary
Join a boutique adult-focused music school near Chinatown MRT, Singapore, specializing in Mandarin pop singing. We seek passionate full-time vocal or pop singing coaches to teach and inspire adult learners, with no prior teaching experience required.
Responsibilities
- Deliver one-on-one and small group vocal/pop singing lessons tailored to adult students vocal needs, goals, and song preferences
- Adapt teaching methods to support students progress in Mandarin pop singing
- Monitor and document student progress, providing personalized, constructive feedback to enhance vocal skills
- Support and coordinate student participation in occasional performances and recitals
- Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment to build strong rapport with students
- Communicate clearly and patiently to facilitate effective learning and confidence building
- Maintain weekend availability to meet scheduling needs, with weekday rest days
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Demonstrate strong singing skills including accurate pitch, rhythm, and expressive delivery
- Show familiarity with Mandarin pop music or a willingness to learn the genre
- Possess basic piano or guitar accompaniment skills (helpful but not required)
- Exhibit passion for supporting adult learners growth in confidence and vocal ability
