Vmware System Administrator

Description

We are seeking an experienced VMware System Administrator to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have 7-12 years of experience in managing and maintaining VMware infrastructure. The candidate should be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain VMware infrastructure, including ESXi hosts, vCenter servers, and virtual machines
• Monitor and troubleshoot VMware infrastructure performance issues, and proactively identify and resolve issues to ensure high availability and optimal performance
• Develop and maintain operational procedures and documentation
• Collaborate with other IT teams to implement and support virtual infrastructure for various business applications
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members
• Participate in project planning and implementation

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• 7-12 years of experience in VMware infrastructure management
• Expertise in VMware vSphere, vCenter, and ESXi
• Experience with VMware Horizon View and vRealize Operations Manager
• Strong knowledge of virtual networking, storage, and security
• Experience with backup and recovery solutions for virtual infrastructure
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
