We are seeking a skilled Manager for VM Development & Engineering to lead technical development and engineering efforts in creating innovative retail solutions. This role offers a dynamic opportunity to drive engineering excellence across multiple projects.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and assess design concepts for technical feasibility, manufacturability, and production requirements. Develop engineering solutions that align with design intent while enhancing durability and functionality. Recommend materials and manufacturing processes to meet quality and cost objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution. Lead prototype development, testing, and validation to ensure product durability and compliance with safety and performance standards. Initiate value engineering projects to enhance product performance while reducing costs. Work closely with manufacturing partners to validate engineering proposals and production methods. Conduct engineering reviews and uphold quality standards throughout the production stages. Document and track cost-saving initiatives and engineering improvements across various projects. Maintain best practices in engineering standards and documentation across all projects.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in display, visual merchandising, or retail fixture industries. Strong knowledge of display construction and manufacturing processes, including acrylic and metal fabrication. Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings. Effective analytical, negotiation, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing business environments. Strong collaborative and decision-making skills sketching skills are an advantage.
