Job Description

The successful candidate will work with A/P Darren Yeo Chong Jinn on freshwater biodiversity conservation and sustainability under a project on megafishes and non-native fishes and their impacts on sustainable fisheries management in the Cambodian Mekong.

The main responsibilities of the position include:

• Data collection/compilation and analyses
• Progress report and scientific paper writing
• Liaising and/or collaborating on freshwater projects in Cambodia

Qualifications

PhD in Ecology, Aquatic Biology or a related field.

Skills:

• Microsoft Office and Adobe applications
• Data mining/collation
• Statistical data analyses and modelling in R

Experience:

• Freshwater ecology, biodiversity, and conservation
• Project organisation, management
• Independent work, but also work with others in a highly collaborative, team-oriented environment
