Vision Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Support vision module installation, including cameras, lighting, and optics setup.
• Operate vision software, configure inspection parameters, and optimize performance.
• Troubleshoot vision modules (software and hardware) to resolve system issues.
• Provide customer support for vision systems, including technical assistance, training, and on-site service.
• Provide technical support to Field Service Engineers as required.
• Service and provide technical support to customers as needed.
• Document work processes and maintain accurate technical records in line with company quality standards.
• Perform any other duties and projects assigned by management or immediate superior.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• 2+ years experience in vision and automation support or related fields.
• Strong programming skills in Visual C or C++.
• Good knowledge of computer vision, image processing, optics, and lighting.
• Experience with lighting modes (dark field, bright field, structured line, etc.) is an advantage.
• Knowledge of software quality and testing methodology.
• Proficiency in English ability to communicate with Mandarin-speaking customers is an advantage.
• Strong team player with good attitude and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to travel, occasionally on short notice, is required.
