What you'll be doing
- Design, develop, and implement vision-based solutions for automated inspection, quality control, and process monitoring
- Integrate vision systems with existing manufacturing equipment and control systems
- Optimize and fine-tune vision algorithms to ensure reliable and accurate defect detection
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address automation challenges
- Provide technical support and training to manufacturing personnel on the use of vision systems
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in vision technology and automation
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our manufacturing processes
What we're looking for
- Diploma / Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in vision system development, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++, Python, or MATLAB
- Hands-on experience with vision hardware, including cameras, lighting, and image processing algorithms
- Strong understanding of automation and control systems, including PLC and industrial network protocols
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with cross-functional stakeholders
