Job Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled Freelance Social Media Video Producer to handle end-to-end video production for fast-paced digital and social platforms. This role requires hands-on involvement in shooting content, editing in DaVinci Resolve, and delivering a first video draft on the same day.
The ideal candidate loves technology, actively follows tech trends, and genuinely enjoys watching tech reviews and digital content.
Key Responsibilities
- Shoot long-form and short-form social media video content using professional cameras, lighting, and audio equipment.
- Edit raw footage in DaVinci Resolve for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and X.
- Format videos for multiple aspect ratios (9:16, 1:1, 16:9).
- Add captions, subtitles, transitions, basic motion graphics, and sound design optimized for social engagement.
- Deliver a first draft within 8 hours after the shoot.
- Implement feedback quickly and provide final approved versions within agreed timelines.
- Maintain organized project files, assets, and backups.
- Stay up to date with tech trends, gadgets, and digital content styles relevant to tech-focused audiences.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven freelance or professional experience as a Video Producer / Videographer / Video Editor for social media content.
- Strong proficiency in DaVinci Resolve (required).
- Solid understanding of vertical and horizontal video workflows.
- Experience working under tight same-day deadlines.
- Strong interest in technology and regular consumption of tech review content (YouTube, social media, blogs, etc.).
- Strong storytelling skills with a focus on audience retention and engagement.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple fast-turnaround projects.

- Familiarity with popular tech creators and content formats.
- Proficiency with a DSLR and Davinci Resolve.
- Proficiency in Davinci Resolve
- Strong understanding of video production processes and techniques
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and creative skills
- Experience in creating engaging video content for various platforms
- Good communication and people skills
Preferred Qualifications
Diploma in Media or related studies.
