VIDEO INTERN (FHRL) INTERNSHIP

The Video Intern ( Call) will create custom content for OGS's Chinese vertical - (sunnysideup). We're seeking an innovative creative who is passionate about both digital media and content creation.

Candidates should be interested in society, young people, culture, and how people connect online through humour and shared interest.

The ideal candidate is interested in learning every part of the creative process, including generating ideas for a variety of formats, like Tiktok, Facebook, Xiao Hong Shu and YouTube. Candidates should also be proactive workers who are motivated and independent.

Responsibilities:

• Research and pitch relevant Chinese content ideas for production
• Produce, shoot and edit videos for social media publications
• Handle uploads through our Facebook, Tiktok, Xiao Hong Shu and YouTube publishing processes
• Write social copies for publication
• Misc. grip work, production assistance and shooting in studio or on location
• Assist with file management, footage and assets organization

Requirements:

• Bilingual in English and Chinese Mandarin
• Familiar with Premiere Pro (After Effects, Photoshop and Audition a plus)
• Ability to shape a story through editing
• Experience in camera handling
• Interest in telling local stories, documentaries and explainers
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Team player with a positive attitude and good work ethic
