Job Summary
Reporting to the Content Lead, the Video Editor will be responsible for editing and delivering high-quality video content for the Football Association of Singapore (FAS). This includes coverage of the National Teams (Men's & Women's, from youth to senior levels), the Singapore Premier League (SPL), and other official FAS events and initiatives.
The role involves transforming raw footage into engaging video content aligned with FAS branding and storytelling standards. Responsibilities include crafting match highlights, behind-the-scenes features, interviews, training content, and event recap videos. The Video Editor will also be involved in organising media assets, ensuring timely content delivery, and supporting the broader content and production team.

Key Responsibilities
Video Editing and Production
. Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, engaging videos for digital platforms, social media, and internal or event use.
. Produce match highlights, training videos, interviews, features, and recap content across National Teams, SPL, and FAS events.
. Add graphics, subtitles, music, and basic motion elements while maintaining brand consistency.
Content Planning and Execution
. Collaborate closely with producers, videographers, and the marketing team to understand content objectives and project requirements.
. Ensure all visual outputs align with FAS branding, storytelling direction, and platform-specific formats.
Quality Assurance
. Review and refine drafts to ensure technical quality, accuracy, and consistency.
. Apply basic colour correction, audio adjustments, and visual enhancements to elevate production value.
Event Coverage Support
. Work with the content team to process and edit footage from matchdays, tournaments, and official FAS events.
. Support the content workflow during peak periods such as international windows and SPL match weeks.
Archiving and File Management
. Organise, tag, and archive footage and project files for easy access and future use.
. Maintain structured project folders and adhere to internal file management protocols.
Cross-Team Collaboration
. Coordinate with the Marketing & Communications and Production teams to meet content delivery needs across the entire organisation.
. Support sponsor-driven video requirements and external media partners when needed.
Requirements
. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro and After Effects.
. Demonstrated experience in video editing, preferably in sports or fast-paced content environments.
. Strong understanding of pacing, visual storytelling, and digital content trends.
. Excellent organisational and communication skills.
. Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines under pressure.
. Familiarity with football (Familiarity in Singapore's local football landscape is a strong advantage).
. A team player with creativity, adaptability, and a proactive mindset.
. Willingness to work on weekends and irregular hours
. Portfolio or showreel demonstrating relevant video editing work.
