Role Description
We are seeking a talented and experienced Video Editor to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced environment. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for creating captivating and high-quality video content that aligns with our client's project vision and objectives. Your exceptional editing skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under tight deadlines will play a crucial role in delivering compelling videos to engage our audience.
Job Scope:
. Work with our post editor and other editors to shape and polish raw footage into compelling narratives, while staying true to Double Exposure's visual identity.
. Collaborate with the creative team to ideate video concepts, storyboard sequences, and participate in script reviews - then bring those ideas to life in post.
. Refine pacing, transitions, and structure: trim, rearrange, tighten, and smooth out cuts to ensure storytelling flow.
. Integrate audio, voiceovers, music, effects, and motion graphics to enrich viewer experience.
. Apply color grading, subtle effects, visual enhancements, and finishing touches to uplift the final product.
. Prepare and export video versions optimised for different platforms (web, social media, mobile, broadcast), ensuring format compatibility, correct aspect ratios, and efficient file sizes.
. Maintain an organised asset library: manage project files, versions, logs, backups, and metadata to ensure easy retrieval and consistency.
. Support quality control: spot visual or audio flaws, perform checks, and iterate based on feedback.

. Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and /or Adobe Creative Suite, including but not limited to After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Knowledge of Davinci Resolve is a plus.
. Solid understanding of storytelling through visual and design.
. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
. Knowledge of current design trends and a passion for advertising
