Looking for a creative, self-driven intern to help produce and manage video content centred on real-life estate planning stories. The content will run across Facebook and Instagram in both long-form and short-form (Reels) formats, with the goal of making it relatable, human, and easy to understand through storytelling.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit long-form videos and short-form Reels for Facebook and Instagram, turning raw footage and interviews into polished, engaging content.
- Assist in developing storylines and narrative angles for real-life stories, translating client experiences into compelling, digestible content.
- Generate content ideas and pitch new formats, hooks, and series concepts to keep the content fresh and audience-relevant.
- Take initiative in scouting stories, trends, and creative directions rather than waiting to be briefed on every detail.
- Manage the day-to-day posting schedule and presence on Facebook and Instagram, including captions, hashtags, and basic community engagement (comments/DMs).
- Support pre-production tasks such as scripting, shot planning, and light on-site filming when needed.
- Track basic content performance (views, engagement, follower growth) and suggest adjustments based on what's working.
- Keep an organised content calendar and asset library (raw footage, edited files, thumbnails, captions).
What We're Looking For
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g. CapCut, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve - any is fine, as long as the output looks professional).
- A strong eye for storytelling and pacing, especially for short-form/Reels-style content.
- Comfortable with or eager to learn social media management tools and best practices for Facebook and Instagram (posting, scheduling, basic analytics).
- Proactive and idea-driven - someone who brings suggestions to the table rather than only executing instructions.
- Good written communication skills for captions, scripts, and storytelling copy.
- Interest in finance, insurance, or estate planning is a plus but not required - willingness to learn the subject matter matters more.
- Able to work both independently (remote editing/planning) and collaboratively (occasional in-person shoots/briefings).
Application Requirements
Please submit the following:
- Resume/CV
- Portfolio of past work - this can include:
Links to previously edited videos (long-form and/or short-form/Reels)
Social media accounts or pages you have personally managed or grown (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
Any relevant coursework, freelance, or personal projects showcasing editing and storytelling ability
Candidates without a formal portfolio are welcome to apply but should include sample clips or screen recordings of edited work.
