Video Processing Algorithm Engineer
What you can expect
As a Video AI Engineer, you will design, develop, and optimize video processing applications across desktop
and mobile platforms. You'll research, implement, and integrate advanced algorithms and deep learning
models into Zoom's video pipeline, ensuring high performance and reliability. Additionally, you'll set up test
environments, build tools, and develop unit tests to validate and refine real-world performance.
About the Team
The Zoom Video AI team is a global group with members in San Jose, China, and Singapore. The Singapore
team specializes in the research and development of AI-powered video processing algorithms designed to
advance and enrich the Zoom Workplace experience.
Responsibilities
- Building and developing video processing applications on both desktop and mobile systems
- Participating in research and performance evaluation of video processing algorithms
- Designing and developing algorithms in Zoom video processing pipelines at module and system levels
- Implementing video processing algorithms with modular and well-organized code
- Optimizing video processing algorithms using to speed up performance on corresponding platforms
- Customizing, integrating, and shipping deep learning models in real-world applications across various platforms, including Mac, Windows, iOS, and Android
- Setting up test environments, develop test tools and design unit tests for software runtime verification.
What we're looking for
- Master or Doctor degree in engineering fields such as Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, and Applied Mathematics.
- Have more than 3 years of work experience in talking avatar/head/portrait, with released projects and top conference papers
- Exhibit understanding of image and video processing
- Have hands-on experience in one of the following techniques: neural rendering, generative model, diffusion model, discriminative model, transfer learning, or Gaussian Splatting.
- Exhibit proficiency in programming with C/C++ and Python
- Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills
