Your team:

The Engineering group you will join coordinates eFront Private Market Solutions. eFront, a part of BlackRock, is a leading software provider of end-to-end solutions dedicated to the Alternative Investments industry.

Fully integrated into our Aladdin eFront Engineering Team in Singapore, you will be exposed to both the technical and functional layers of our most innovative products, driving the success of eFront Solutions thanks to your strong expertise both in Private Markets Products and in Product Ownership for Financial Software development. You will be a part of an international and agile environment, with a strong drive for technical innovation.

Your role:

As a Senior Product Owner, you leverage your knowledge of Private Market Investments Management and eFront Products to understand new business requirements and translate them in well-defined product features ready for implementation in eFront Insight. You are dialoguing with Product Management as well as with other Internal and External stakeholders to build the implementation plans. You are working in the Engineering organization to define the backlog of the Agile Squads and follow up on the implementation of the features end to end. You are helped in this work by the rest of the Engineering team which includes Developers, Quality Assurance Engineers, Scrum Masters, CI/CD Engineers and UI/UX designers. Ultimately you are responsible for the achievement and delivery of the planned developments in eFront Insight.

Ideal candidate is an Engineer with both technical and functional knowledge, able to understand a complex system from inside out and having experience in analysing functional requirements and managing a team backlog. Knowledge of Financial Systems including Investment Banking and Alternative Investment is mandatory. Pre-existing knowledge of the eFront product suite and AI-based features is a strong plus.

What will you be doing

. Requirements analysis and translation in Product Development items.

. Building and monitoring development plan for the target features.

. Follow up with Engineering lead and Product management on the realisation and go live of the features.

. Participation in the maintenance, evolution and support of the developed features

. Work in the teams, participate in Scrum events and ceremonies to guide the team in the realisation of the requirements

. Engaging with external stakeholders when required to refine requirements and gather feedback on developed features

. Support client facing teams in RFPs and demonstration of the product value.

. Maintaining telemetry and explaining usage patterns of the application.

. Engage with Product Marketing teams to raise awareness in the product and ensure a clear communication with external stakeholders.

. Define, explain and adapt complex performance calculations to provide critical KPIs to our users, from basic return computations to more advanced projections and pacing planning.

. Be the product expert supporting strategic initiatives.

Technologies and Concepts involved:

. Financial Systems for Alternative Investments covering all Private Market asset classes.

. Financial Performance and Risk Calculations for Alternative Investments.

. Agile Practices (Scrum)

What are we looking for

. University Master's degree in a Finance related field.

. Knowledge of finance and private market asset classes and investment lifecycle.

. Experienced in Financial Software development for Private Markets.

. Technical and functional knowledge of Private Equity software, eFront Insight and eFront Invest.

. Be familiar with the Private Markets calculation and metrics.

. Existing experience on challenging and high impact feature definition, like a permission framework or AI-driven project.

. Experience in Requirement Analysis and Product Backlog management.

. Understanding of complete product lifecycle end to end, from the early requirement gathering, through the requirement analysis, backlog building and management, implementation and testing, release of features and up to the maintenance of these features in production.

. Experience with large software including modern technologies and legacy components.

. 10 years of experience in software engineering and Alternative Investments
