Vice President, Senior IT Project Manager -Transaction Banking (12 months contract)

We are seeking a highly motivated candidate for the position of IT PM within Information Technology Development under Systems Office for Asia.

The successful candidate will be part of a growing dynamic team that is in-charge of the domestic payment systems (channel and payment processors). These are crucial systems to support local clearing and partner bank connectivity in the region.

The successful candidate is expected to play an important role in ensuring quality and timely delivery of the system solutions that meet the defined scope and are within budget. The main job responsibilities include:

• Manage project and vendor delivery in terms of scope, schedule, resource, cost and quality.

• Develop and maintain high level project plan and detailed WBDS.

• Track and report project and vendor progress against WBDS, formulate and manage recovery plan for schedule and quality slippage.

• Track and manage project risks, issues and cross-team dependencies.

• Track and manage budget forecast and utilization.

• Adopt and conform to the Bank's project processes, including reporting and review by various governance functions (budget, architecture, cybersecurity, headquarters, etc).

• Manage change requests in terms of scope, schedule, resource and cost.

• Facilitate effective communication among project stakeholders.

• Manage the handover to production support team from application teams before changes are implemented.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 10 years of IT project management experience in Transaction Banking Cash/Payment domain.

• Experience in both the technical and functional aspects of banking payment systems, including payment channels and payment processing platforms.

• Experience in managing cross-functional teams - infrastructure, vendor, HO, branch, testing, business, operations, among others

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology, or equivalent experience

• Hands-on and results-oriented professional with strong attention to detail and a structured approach to planning and execution.

• Resourceful in solving complex problems, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

• PMP or Project Management Certifications is an advantage
