OverviewThe Vice President (VP) is a senior leader responsible for driving strategic initiatives, managing high-impact operations, and leading cross-functional teams to achieve business goals. This role plays a key part in shaping organisational direction and ensuring successful execution across the company or assigned business unit.
Key Responsibilities1. Strategic Leadership- Develop and execute strategies that support the company's long-term growth and operational excellence.
- Provide direction on business planning, performance optimisation, and market development.
- Identify new business opportunities and guide major organisational initiatives.
2. Business & Operational Management- Oversee daily operations of the division or business unit.
- Ensure that goals, KPIs, and financial targets are met consistently.
- Optimize processes to improve efficiency, quality, and scalability.
- Lead transformation or digitalisation initiatives when required.
3. Leadership & People Management- Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
- Build a strong leadership pipeline and foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
- Oversee workforce planning, capability building, and team alignment.
4. Stakeholder Engagement- Serve as a senior liaison among executive leadership, partners, clients, and internal stakeholders.
- Present business updates, strategy proposals, and performance insights to executive committees.
- Manage complex stakeholder relationships across departments and regions.
5. Financial & Performance Oversight- Develop budgets and ensure financial health of the division.
- Monitor KPIs, operational targets, and P&L performance.
- Make data-driven decisions to support revenue growth and cost optimisation.
6. Governance & Risk Management- Ensure compliance with corporate governance standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to safeguard business continuity.
7. Cross-Functional Collaboration- Collaborate with other senior leaders (Product, Tech, HR, Sales, Finance, Ops) to ensure organisational alignment.
- Lead enterprise-wide projects and strategic programs when required.
Qualifications & Requirements- Bachelor's degree required; Master's/MBA preferred.
- 10+ years of relevant experience, including leadership roles in the related industry.
- Proven track record in strategic planning, operations management, and team leadership.
- Experience managing P&L and driving large-scale initiatives.
- Strong business acumen and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
