Job Description
Vice President of Business Development Global Energy & Trading
Location: Israel & Middle East Focus Hybrid from Day One
Type: Founding Executive Role | Equity Participation & Long-Term Incentives
About the Opportunity
We are building a next-generation global energy company from the ground up integrating international energy trading, multi-asset refined products and LNG, and large-scale infrastructure development across Israel, the Middle East, and Europe.
Supported by leading strategic partners, the company is advancing multi-billion-dollar trading and infrastructure ventures, creating a new regional energy platform that connects supply, storage, and market access across critical global corridors.
As Vice President of Business Development (VP BD), you will shape the company's commercial expansion, strategic partnerships, and long-term growth. You will lead high-impact dealmaking, open new markets, secure commercial offtake and supply agreements, and build the business engines that will scale the company from inception to global relevance.
This is a rare opportunity to join a founding leadership team at the earliest stage influencing global energy markets, driving transformational commercial strategies, and directly shaping one of the most ambitious emerging energy platforms in the region.
Key Responsibilities
Lead global business development across crude oil, refined products, LNG, and infrastructure-related commercial opportunities.
Identify, negotiate, and secure large-scale commercial partnerships, supply agreements, and offtake structures with global traders, producers, and industrial customers.
Build strategic alliances with international energy companies, financial institutions, and infrastructure partners.
Develop and execute market-entry strategies across Israel, the Middle East, and Europe.
Collaborate with CEO, COO, CDO, and Capital teams to align commercial growth with operational and financial plans.
Evaluate new assets, terminals, storage opportunities, and trading corridors that enhance the company's commercial footprint.
Lead cross-functional negotiations, complex deal structuring, and long-term commercial frameworks.
Represent the company to global industry stakeholders, strategic investors, and government agencies.
Candidate Profile
Senior leadership experience in business development, commercial strategy, trading origination, or corporate development at major energy, trading, or infrastructure companies.
Proven ability to close complex, multi-million or multi-billion-dollar commercial partnerships.
Deep understanding of global energy markets (LNG, crude, refined products) and regional commercial dynamics.
Strong network across producers, traders, infrastructure developers, and energy majors.
Skilled negotiator with a track record of building long-term value through partnerships.
Exceptional strategic, analytical, and communication skills.
Fluency in English required; Hebrew/Arabic/French are an advantage.
Compensation & Opportunity
Founding leadership role in a high-growth, globally positioned energy company.
No fixed monthly salary during the initial phase; compensation begins with the start of commercial operations or successful fundraising.
Participation in company equity and long-term performance incentives tied to commercial growth, project execution, and strategic expansion.
Opportunity to shape multi-billion-dollar commercial outcomes and influence the company at the highest decision-making level.
