Vice President, Model/Data Governance (Risk)

Model Governance:

• Maintain model governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Maintain a comprehensive inventory of all models used within the APAC region.
• Ensure that model lifecycle is implemented for all in-scope models.
• Facilitate communication between various departments regarding model usage and governance issues.
• Model validation for in-scope models.

Data Governance:

• Oversee data management processes to maintain the integrity, security, and availability of data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT to establish data standards and best practices across APAC region.
• Monitor and report on data governance metrics and compliance adherence.
• Manage metadata repositories and data catalogs using technical knowledge of data flows.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

Requirements :

• Degree or equivalent with experience in Financial Institution in Data Governance, Model Governance and BCBS 239. 
• Good Project Management, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Team player and strong sense of ownership of outcomes.
• Meticulous, with an eye for details.
• Fluent in written and spoken English.
• Able to work under tight time lines on multiple projects.
• Experience in Model Validation is a plus.
