Vice President, Legal (Markets) - Global Investment Bank

Our client is a leading global investment bank, and theyre looking to hire a Vice President Legal Counsel to join their APAC Markets Legal team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with the front office and provide legal support across a broad range of fixed income and derivatives transactions, including rates, FX, credit, emerging markets, and corporate risk solutions.

Youll be advising on trading documentation (ISDA, GMRA, GMSLA), supporting structured note and repackaging programmes, and helping the business navigate global and regional regulations (EMIR, Dodd-Frank, MIFID, BMR, LIBOR transition). The role also involves netting and collateral enforceability reviews and contributing to strategic initiatives across the region.

The ideal candidate:

• 68 years PQE, with experience in markets or derivatives legal work
• Strong understanding of ISDA documentation and fixed income products
• Familiarity with global regulatory frameworks
• Commercial and collaborative approach
