About the Role:
We are seeking a senior professional to lead and expand our intermediary distribution business across Southeast Asia. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing strategic growth plans, managing key channel relationships, and driving asset acquisition in Singapore and key regional markets.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the team to develop and execute a business development and relationship management strategy for the intermediary distribution business in Singapore and South Asia (key markets would include Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines and Indonesia).
- Build and maintain in-depth knowledge of market dynamics and strategic challenges within target distribution channels.
- Acquire new mandates and service existing clients, managing relationships from initial contact through to operational fulfillment.
- Market a comprehensive range of investment products to intermediaries, collaborating with senior investment professionals as needed
- Create and implement targeted plans to identify prospects and raise assets across all product lines.
- Ensure all client activities comply with regulatory, legal, and internal governance standards.
Requirements:
- 7-10 years of relevant experience in financial services, with a proven track record in growing intermediary distribution.
- Deep understanding of capital markets, economics, and investment concepts.
- Strong preference for experience in fixed income, alternatives, private credit, and real estate.
- Outstanding sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to operate independently in a regional context.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated success in client acquisition and asset raising.
