Job Description

We are partnering with a multinational organization in the chemical and industrial space to appoint a Vice President, Human Resources to lead the people agenda across Asia Pacific and the Middle East.

This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role, overseeing a regional HR team and driving HR transformation across a diverse and high-growth footprint. The role will work closely with global and regional leadership to shape organizational effectiveness, culture, and talent strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the regional HR strategy, aligning with global priorities and business growth plans
  • Act as a strategic partner to senior leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, and capability building
  • Drive the evolution of a HR Business Partner (HRBP) and Center of Excellence (CoE) operating model
  • Lead change management and transformation initiatives, including culture building and organizational effectiveness
  • Support and lead M&A activities, including due diligence, integration, and post-merger cultural alignment
  • Oversee HR operations across multiple countries, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and practices
  • Build and strengthen a high-performance, culture of excellence environment across the region
  • Partner with business leaders on talent management, succession planning, and leadership development
  • Support market expansion and scaling efforts, particularly in emerging markets


Requirements:

  • Proven track record in a senior HR leadership role (Director / VP level) within a multinational environment
  • Strong regional experience across Asia Pacific
  • Prior experience in chemical, manufacturing, or industrial sectors highly preferred
  • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing HR strategies at both regional and country levels
  • Hands-on experience leading organizational transformation, change management, and culture initiatives
  • Experience supporting or leading M&A activities and integration processes
  • Strong understanding of HR operating models (HRBP + CoE structures)
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to influence and partner with senior stakeholders
  • Commercially minded, with the ability to link HR strategy to business outcomes
