Job Responsibilities:

Strategic HR Leadership & Business Partnership

. Define and implement HR strategies for Life Science & Environment in alignment with business priorities, industry trends, and market developments.

. Serve as a strategic advisor to the Life Science & Environment Board, ensuring the people agenda drives growth, productivity, safety, innovation, and profitability.

Global HR Leadership

. Lead, coach, and develop a team of HR leaders oversee HR performance and capability across all Life Science & Environment manufacturing and logistics sites.

. Foster a diverse, collaborative, and results-driven culture emphasizing leadership development, talent mobility, and accountability.

Talent Management & Workforce Planning

. In partnership with global Centers of Expertise (CoEs), ensure robust workforce planning and sustainable talent pipelines aligned to future skill requirements and growth plans.

. Lead structured succession planning for all critical operational roles, ensuring leadership continuity and organizational agility.

Labor Relations & Employee Engagement

. Shape and execute global labor relations strategies, including union and works council collaboration, ensuring alignment with company values and legal frameworks.

. Strengthen employee engagement, retention, and morale across diverse cultural and industrial environments through consistent implementation of global people initiatives.

Operational Excellence & HR Process Efficiency

. Optimize the HR setup across all sites, leveraging digital tools, GBTS, and automation to enhance efficiency and experience.

. Translate strategy into actionable roadmaps with clear priorities, KPIs, and resource plans.

. Drive standardization, simplification, and global consistency while ensuring local adaptability.

. Ensure compliance with international labor, health & safety, and regulatory standards.

Change Leadership & Transformation

. Lead the people dimension of transformation projects, including footprint optimization.

. Support organizational transformation.

. Anticipate and mitigate people-related risks, ensuring resilience through proactive planning and execution.

Your Profile:

Education

. Master's degree in business economics organizational management psychology or LL.M. legal background preferred

Experience

. Relevant experience of at least ten years in HRBP and organizational/people development leadership roles ideally within the life sciences & environment industry

. Proven track record of leading an HR department or major functional areas successfully on all levels - operationally, tactically, and strategically

Required Skills

. Strong international experience, preferably including an employment abroad demonstrate a high sense of multi-cultural experience

. Superior communication skills, verbal and in writing, to effectively address all levels

Preferred Skills

. Experience in working with works councils and trade unions

. Experience in building global high-performance teams

. Experience with SAP-modules appreciated (E.g. Successfactors)

. Experience with M&A as well as PMI processess

Languages

. Excellent fluency in English (written and spoken)

. 2nd Language appreciated
