Job Description: APJ Enterprise Sales Leader
Location: Singapore (preferred) | Sydney | Tokyo

Role Overview
Our Client is seeking an experienced APJ Sales Leader to build and scale an enterprise sales
organization across the Asia-Pacific & Japan (APJ) region. This is a senior, hands-on
leadership role with full ownership of regional revenue, pipeline development, and team
build-out.
The role requires a strong builder mindset, with responsibility for personally driving early
strategic deals while simultaneously establishing a scalable sales engine. The leader will be
accountable for launching the region, acquiring marquee enterprise customers, and creating
a repeatable sales motion for long-term growth.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue & Commercial Ownership
Own end-to-end direct enterprise sales revenue for the APJ region with aggressive growth
targets
Carry a personal sales quota initially, transitioning toward team leadership as the region
scales
Drive large, complex enterprise transactions with multi-million-dollar deal sizes
Maintain strong forecasting discipline, pipeline hygiene, and revenue predictability
Enterprise Sales & Go-To-Market Execution
Lead direct sales engagements with Fortune 500 and large enterprise customers
Develop and execute the regional go-to-market strategy for cloud, data, AI, and digital
transformation solutions
Identify and pursue high-impact opportunities such as cloud modernization,
infrastructure transformation, and enterprise platform adoption
Navigate long sales cycles and complex stakeholder environments with senior CXO buyers
Pipeline & Market Development
Build a strong, qualified pipeline through targeted account planning and executive
engagement
Establish market presence across key APJ markets through thought leadership, industry
events, and executive forums
Position the offering as a strategic transformation partner rather than a transactional
vendor
Create early reference customers and success stories to support broader regional
expansion
Team Build & Sales Leadership
Recruit, onboard, and lead high-performing enterprise Account Executives and supporting
sales roles
Define sales operating cadence, performance metrics, and execution rigor for the region
Coach and mentor the team to consistently achieve and exceed revenue targets
Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and disciplined execution
Ecosystem & Cross-Functional Collaboration
Leverage cloud ecosystem relationships and co-sell programs to accelerate deal velocity
Collaborate closely with solutions, delivery, and operations teams to ensure successful
customer outcomes
Partner with global leadership to refine sales strategy, messaging, and regional playbooks
Required Qualifications
15+ years of enterprise technology or platform sales experience
Proven track record of consistent quota attainment
Experience closing large, complex enterprise deals
Demonstrated success building and scaling sales teams across APJ markets (ANZ, ASEAN,
Japan, India)
Strong executive presence with the ability to engage CIO, CTO, and senior business leaders
Comfortable operating in ambiguous, high-growth, build-from-scratch environments
Preferred Experience
Exposure to cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
Background in cloud migration, infrastructure modernization, or data center
transformation
Experience selling platform or SaaS-led solutions with recurring revenue models
Prior experience in high-growth or transformation-led organizations
