Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Product Strategy & Innovation
- Collaborate with Group Wholesale Banking units to identify product opportunities derived from client needs, competitive dynamics, data insights, and market research.
- Support the formulation and execution of the bank's digital currency strategy (tokenized deposits, stablecoin settlement, digital wallet infrastructure).
- Track global developments in blockchain, DLT, digital asset regulations, and emerging industry standards.
- Identify commercial use cases, partnership opportunities, and ecosystem participation aligned with GTB's strategic priorities.
- Product Development & Enhancement
- Lead end‑to‑end product development including business case creation, requirements definition (BRD), and user journey design.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications (FSD) with Technology, ensuring alignment and timely sign‑offs.
- Own the overall project plan and governance—tracking risks, issues, changes, financials, budgets, and headcount.
- Ensure product design satisfies regulatory, operational, risk, and compliance standards.
- Partner with Technology and Operations to deliver scalable, robust, and efficient digital currency solutions.
- Portfolio & Lifecycle Management
- Work closely with internal stakeholders (Sales, Client Coverage, Operations, Risk, etc.) to drive commercialization across the product lifecycle.
- Monitor product performance, revenue contribution, client adoption, and operational resilience.
- Manage pricing frameworks, fee structures, and product governance documentation.
- Continuously enhance product capabilities to improve client experience and operational efficiency.
- Commercialization & Client Advocacy
- Partner with Sales and Relationship Management to support client conversations, solutioning, proposals, and RFPs.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Communications to develop client‑facing materials and product collateral.
- Drive rollout of new and enhanced products across overseas branches and subsidiaries.
- Accelerate adoption through training, market education, and internal/external outreach.
- Stakeholder & Governance Management
- Work closely with Legal, Compliance, and Risk to uphold strong governance and risk controls.
- Manage submissions through approval forums, maintaining transparency on project pipelines and prioritisation.
- Coordinate with Operations, Risk, and Compliance to resolve product issues and uphold control standards.
