Job Summary

The Vice President of Business Development will lead strategic growth initiatives. This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, forming strategic partnerships, expanding market presence, and driving revenue growth across programs, centers, and education services.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Growth & Market Expansion

  • Develop and execute business development strategies in the new identified sectors beyond early childhood.
  • Identify new markets, including local and international expansion opportunities.
  • Analyze industry trends, competitor landscape, and parent/customer needs.

2. Partnerships & Stakeholder Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with schools, government agencies, corporate partners, and education providers.
  • Lead negotiations for strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and licensing opportunities.
  • Represent the organization at industry events, forums, and conferences.

3. Revenue Generation

  • Drive revenue growth through new business channels (e.g., franchising, licensing, B2B programs, enrichment services).
  • Develop pricing and commercial strategies aligned with market positioning.
  • Oversee pipeline development and conversion strategies.

4. Product & Program Development

  • Collaborate with curriculum and operations teams to develop scalable early childhood programs and services.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance existing offerings or introduce new products (e.g., digital learning, teacher training programs).

5. Leadership & Team Management

  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing business development team.
  • Set KPIs, monitor performance, and ensure alignment with organizational goals.

6. Financial Planning & Performance

  • Develop business cases, forecasts, and budgets for new initiatives.
  • Track performance metrics and ROI for business development activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 6+ years of experience in business development, strategy, or commercial roles for senior leadership.
  • Experience and flexibility in outreach to at least 2 different sectors with at least 1 education or HR related products preferred.
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth and closing strategic partnerships.
  • Strong understanding in education or consultancy regulations, licensing, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with franchising or multi-site education operations.
  • Familiarity with digital learning platforms or EdTech solutions.
  • Regional/international market expansion experience.
