1. Job Responsibilities
1) Design & Technical Coordination
Coordinate with Main QPD, Construction Engineering Consultant, launching specialist, subcontractors, site team, LTA, and QPS to ensure design and construction engineering requirements are properly reviewed, approved, and implemented.
2) Construction Engineering Report & Sequence Drawing Management
Manage Construction Engineering Reports, technical submissions, method-related design documents, and responses to comments for precast viaduct works. Prepare and coordinate detailed construction sequence drawings based on approved CE Reports.
3) Design Interface & Constructability Review
Review design interfaces and constructability requirements for precast viaduct works, including permanent works, temporary works, launching sequence, and site constraints.
4) Technical Support for Site Issues
Provide design-based technical support for site issues and coordinate with relevant parties to resolve technical matters efficiently.
5) Documentation & Compliance
Maintain approved drawings, technical submissions, design changes, CE records, and as-built information in accordance with LTA and project requirements.
2. Job Requirements
1) Education
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or equivalent.
2) Experience
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in viaduct, precast, or major infrastructure projects.
Minimum 3 years of direct experience in LTA-related projects in Singapore.
3) Technical Skills
Experience in viaduct design coordination, preferably involving precast segmental works.
Knowledge of permanent works design, construction engineering, temporary works, and launching / erection sequence.
Ability to prepare and coordinate detailed construction sequence drawings based on CE Reports.
Familiar with coordination among Main QPD, Construction Engineering Consultant, launching specialist, subcontractors, site team, LTA, and QPS.
Working knowledge of LTA requirements, Eurocodes, and Singapore standards.
Understanding of RC and prestressed / post-tensioned concrete structures.
Able to review drawings, technical submissions, construction sequences, and resolve site-related technical issues.
Proficiency in AutoCAD experience with Midas will be an advantage.
