Veterinary Technician

-Assisting in patient restraint and handling during consultations, assisting with surgeries, assisting with patient hospitalization and treatment management, (pre-operative, peri-operative and post-operative) patient care, anaesthetic monitoring, administration of injections and oral medications under supervision, providing nutritional support, exercising patients, dispensing medical prescriptions accurately etc.

-Maintaining accurate and comprehensive medical records

-Assisting in area cleaning, cleaning and sanitizing cages and equipment, and maintaining cleanliness and order at the Company's premises

-Maintaining the health and welfare of all patients under your duty of care

-Assisting with clerical, reception and administrative duties

-Providing good and professional customer service

-Advocating preventative healthcare and educating the public on proper pet care and husbandry

- Will require working shifts, weekends, some public holidays and 4-6 night duties per month

- Preferably with minimium 2 years relevant experience and relevant qualification
