Veterinary Technician Nurse

Rare opening for a new member to join AAVC team.

Our colleagues have been with AAVC since being established in 2008, with newer ones joining and expanding the team in 2015-2018, and 2020-2024. All would have been with AAVC for at least 3 years, with average of 8 years. As such, a good support team as you learn on the job.

Job Description & Requirements

This Position is for FULL TIME SINGAPORE CITIZEN and/or PR status ONLY due to quota for Visa Passes.

You will need to HOLD / RESTRAIN animal of all species.

Approximately 7hrs a day - Monday - Friday

Public Holiday / Weekends are approximately 4 hours work.

Up to 2 off days per week. So meaning your work hours can vary from 30 - 35hrs work/week.

You'll be assisting the veterinary surgeon with animal restrain, treatment under guidance of the veterinarian (dressing of wound, shaving, washing, injections, oral medicating), cage cleaning, preparation of surgical equipments and subsequent cleaning and sterilization.

Assisting in the packing of medication, STOCK taking, answering telephone queries (booking of appointments), and replying emails.

Your role includes Front Reception duties such as admission and discharging of patients, explaining the medication, collecting payment using NETS, cash register, Paynow or similar.

No formal certification/experience or education required as there will be ON THE JOB training. However, salary commenserate with qualification, experience and skills.
