Veterinary Nurse

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and facilitate the admission process for new pets/ animals
• Provide support for anesthesia monitoring and recovery in emergency situations
• Assist emergency veterinarians with the care and treatment of hospitalized animals
• Oversee critical animals
• Perform radiographic imaging for animals
• Restrain animals for exams and treatments
• Prepare and discharge patients for surgeries, including postoperative bandaging and recovery.
• Communicate effectively with clients

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in veterinary technology/nursing relevant qualifications
• Prior experience in a veterinary clinic or hospital setting is preferred.
