VETERINARIAN

Job Purpose

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinarian to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality medical and surgical care, maintaining rigorous diagnostic standards, and fostering strong relationships with pet owners to ensure the lifelong well-being of their companion animals.

Key Responsibilities

• Clinical Diagnosis & Treatment: Conduct thorough physical examinations to diagnose and treat a wide range of diseases and injuries in companion animals.
• Surgical & Medical Intervention: Perform soft tissue and/or orthopedic surgeries, administer medical treatments, and manage anesthetic protocols with a high degree of precision.
• Preventive Healthcare: Promote long-term animal health by administering vaccinations, conducting diagnostic screenings, and advising clients on nutrition, sanitation, and preventative wellness plans.
• Emergency & Acute Care: Efficiently manage acute cases and restore animal health through evidence-based medicine and tailored treatment plans.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to public health protocols by identifying and reporting notifiable diseases to the relevant Singapore authorities (e.g., AVS/NParks).
• Medical Record Management: Maintain meticulous, up-to-date electronic medical records, documenting all clinical findings, treatments, and client communications to ensure continuity of care.

Requirements

Education: A recognized Degree in Veterinary Science, Veterinary Medicine, or Veterinary Surgery.
Licensing: Must be a Licensed Veterinarian recognized by the Animal & Veterinary Service (AVS) of Singapore or eligible to qualify for the AVS license.
Experience: Prior clinical experience in a small animal practice is preferred however, passionate recent graduates with a strong clinical foundation may be considered.
