Vessel IT Executive (Ship Management)

• Ensure the Company's IT Policy is up-to-date and followed.
• Provide daily IT support to company end-users.
• Offer IT support for Vessels through remote tools or on-site visits as needed.
• Maintain regular IT server operations for both the company and vessels.
• Keep the Office Hardware inventory updated.
• Administer the Company's Marine ERPs.
• Ensure ERP and office server backups and replication are performed.
• Collaborate with other Business Units to identify new technological needs or enhance existing technologies for better functionality or efficiency.
• Organize or conduct IT training sessions for new users or technologies.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers when necessary.
• Maintain and create user documentation and training materials.
• Actively research and deploy new software/hardware, unit standards, policies, and procedures, managing their implementation effectively.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by superiors periodically.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Information Technology or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of IT support experience in a shipping company.
• Strong team player with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Good communication skills.
• Proficient in both verbal and written communication.
• Ability to manage multiple projects/proposals.
• Basic SQL knowledge for running/applying queries.
• Experience working with ERP software is an advantage.
