Wright Partners is growing! We are looking for a Venture Lead in Singapore to take a venture from discovery to launch, executing pilots, validating market opportunities, and harnessing AI hands-on to solve complex problems. You'll turn research, data, and pilot results into actionable strategies, financial models, and go-to-market plans, all while leading a small team and finding smart, inventive ways to make things happen and drive impact.
This role is for someone who thrives on hands-on execution, structured problem-solving, and rapid experimentation, and has practical experience applying AI to deliver real-world outcomes, turning insights into validated, high-impact ventures.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Lead the direction and outcomes of the venture, including strategy, commercial performance, and product roadmap.
- Structure discovery and validation: identify pain points, research markets and value chains, and plan interviews, focus groups, and quantitative research to validate assumptions.
- Leverage AI & Drive AI agenda extensively: prompt and manage AI workflows for research, analysis, summarization, and decision support.
- Design and execute pilots and prototypes, defining testing frameworks and data collection methods customized for each venture.
- Evaluate monetization strategies, unit economics, and financial models to ensure scalability and profitability.
- Lead a small team, set weekly goals, provide guidance, maintain alignment, and offer leadership to help the team succeed.
- Craft and deliver venture narratives, presentations, and communications for partners and stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, deconflict ambiguities, manage expectations, and maintain clarity across teams.
- Translate research, pilot results, and experimental findings into actionable strategies, financial models, and go-to-market plans.
- Represent the venture externally and internally, ensuring credibility, alignment, and high impact
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline
- Proven experience (typically 7+ years) leading early-stage ventures, experiments, or teams, including end-to-end venture discovery, validation, and execution
- Hands-on AI expertise, skilled in prompting, managing, and leveraging AI tools for research, analysis, decision-making, and pilot execution
- Strong track record in designing and executing pilots, validating concepts, and turning research into actionable business strategies
- Deep analytical and commercial skills, including market analysis, business modeling, unit economics, and monetization strategy
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, able to craft venture narratives and engage confidently with partners, stakeholders, and external audiences
- Experience leading and mentoring small teams, providing direction, setting goals, and maintaining alignment across complex projects
- Ability to thrive in fast-moving, ambiguous environments, balancing strategic leadership with hands-on execution
