Role Description
A Venture Capital (VC) Analyst supports investment decisions by researching, analyzing, and evaluating potential startup or growth-stage investment opportunities. They provide insights on market trends, financials, and business models to assist partners and senior investment professionals in making informed decisions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify promising startups
- Perform financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence on potential investments
- Assist in sourcing and screening investment opportunities
- Prepare investment memos, reports, and presentations for internal review
- Monitor portfolio company performance and assist in follow-on funding decisions

Qualifications
Typical qualifications for a Venture Capital Analyst include:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
- 13 years of experience in investment banking, consulting, private equity, or venture capital
